Get help signing in and changing your account
Check login details, update your username or password, and ask for help when you cannot access your account.
Check the address and login details
Use the sign-in page for this service and enter your account username and password. The username is the name used for your account here; do not assume it is an email address or a login from the website behind a short link.
Check for accidental spaces, the keyboard language, and Caps Lock. A password manager may have saved a login for another hostname, particularly if you opened the site through a custom domain. Make sure you are using the intended account before trying again. Never send your password to support.
If the browser keeps returning you to sign-in
The service uses a cookie to keep you signed in. If the browser blocks or clears it, your session may not be kept. Try a private window or another browser to see whether the problem is limited to the current browser settings. You should still use the real service address and a secure connection.
An old session can also need a fresh sign-in after account changes. If you recently changed your username or password, sign out and use the updated details. Avoid repeatedly submitting a guessed password; sign-in requests are rate limited, and too many attempts may temporarily prevent another attempt.
Change your account while you are signed in
Open Settings and choose the account tab. Account settings belong to your own account; site-wide settings are managed separately by administrators. To change your username or password, use the account form and provide your current password when asked.
Choose a username that is available and follows the form's allowed characters. For a new password, follow the length requirements shown and use a unique password. Enter the confirmation exactly the same way. If you are changing only the username, leave the new-password fields blank.
- Open the account tab in Settings.
- Enter the change you want and your current password.
- Check any validation messages, then save.
- Use the updated details the next time you sign in.
If you cannot get into the account
This site does not currently provide an automatic email password-reset flow. Use the public contact page to ask the site administrators for help. Give your username, the service address you used, the error text, and roughly when the problem began. The administrators may need to verify that you own the account before making a change.
Do not create another account just to get around a login problem: it will not automatically contain your existing links. If registration is closed, existing accounts can still sign in. Account access and a destination website's own login are separate, so support here cannot reset a password on a linked website.
Keep the support conversation useful
If you can sign in, open a support ticket and return to it to read replies. Include the steps you tried and whether another browser worked. Leave out passwords, authentication cookies, recovery codes, and private tokens. A concise error description is more useful than sharing credentials.
