Your account and content
Provide accurate information where requested and keep your account credentials private. You are responsible for activity through your account and for the links, text, HTML, media, and other material you submit.
Create links only to destinations you are entitled to share. You must have permission to use any custom domain, branding, or content you provide. Do not suggest that you represent another person or organization without authorization.
You retain your rights in your content. By submitting it, you permit the operator to store, process, and display it as needed to provide the service, including redirects and intermediate pages.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to harm people, conceal a harmful destination, or misrepresent who is behind a link. Prohibited uses include:
- Phishing, credential theft, malware distribution, scams, or deceptive redirects.
- Impersonation, harassment, unlawful content, or material you do not have permission to use.
- Spam or unwanted bulk messages that use short links to disguise their purpose.
- Interfering with the website, bypassing security controls or access restrictions, probing accounts without authorization, or overloading the service.
Automated use must respect the service's limits and any permissions granted by the operator. A countdown, CAPTCHA, custom domain, or advertisement must not be presented as a reason to trust an otherwise misleading destination.
Following links and viewing external content
A short link can lead to a website operated by someone else. An intermediate page, advertisement, CAPTCHA, or custom domain does not mean the site operator endorses the destination or guarantees its safety, accuracy, or availability.
Use your judgment before opening unfamiliar links, downloading files, or submitting personal information. Report a suspicious link through the contact page, including its short address and a brief explanation.
CAPTCHA services, advertising providers, domain infrastructure, and destination websites may impose separate terms. Their availability and decisions are outside the operator's control.
Availability, restrictions, and changes
Links can expire, be disabled, or change destination. The operator may restrict accounts, content, links, or domains to address misuse, security concerns, legal requirements, or operational needs.
The service does not guarantee continuous availability, successful redirects, certificate issuance, accurate analytics, or continued access to a particular feature. Keep your own copies of information you need. Configuration changes, provider outages, browser restrictions, and destination changes can affect how links work.
For information about account records, link activity, cookies, optional providers, and contact submissions, read the privacy policy.
Questions and updates
Use the contact page for service questions, abuse reports, or concerns about these terms. The operator may update the terms as the service changes. The current version is published here.
